Ishmam Alawee

Ishmam is an Analyst on the Portfolio Monitoring team at Lead Edge Capital.

Prior to joining Lead Edge in 2025, Ishmam worked as a Data Scientist at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he was involved in cancer research. He previously worked as a Petroleum Engineer and also spent time at Citibank supporting portfolio analytics and risk management initiatives.

Ishmam received his Master’s degree in Data Science and Analytics, graduating with distinction, and his Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
