Michaela Balderston

Michaela is the Chief Communications Officer at Lead Edge, where she oversees the Firm’s communications and works with the Firm's portfolio companies to provide both strategic and tactical communications counsel.

Prior to joining Lead Edge in 2023, Michaela was a Partner at Tusk Venture Partners, an early-stage VC firm. Additionally, Michaela has held various communications and public policy roles at Nestlé and Burson-Marsteller.

Michaela received her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Middle Eastern Studies from Colgate University.

Michaela is based out of the Firm’s New York office.
