Mitchell Green

Mitchell Green is the Founder and Managing Partner of Lead Edge Capital. Mitchell helps oversee all Lead Edge activities and is a member of the Investment Committee and Management Committee of the Firm. Mitchell has led or co-led investments in companies including Alibaba Group, Asana, Benchling, ByteDance, Duo Security, Grafana, Mindbody, and Xamarin, among several others.

Prior to founding Lead Edge, Mitchell was a member of the investment team at Eastern Advisors, a hedge fund backed by Tiger Management. He also served as an Analyst at Bessemer Venture Partners where he helped build out the firm’s sourcing program. Mitchell started his career as an investment banker, having held positions at both UBS and Barrington Associates.

Mitchell is a former nationally ranked alpine ski racer and currently serves on the boards of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Foundation and the Laguna Blanca School in Santa Barbara, CA.

Mitchell holds a B.A. in Economics from Williams College and an M.B.A. in Marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mitchell is based out of the Firm’s Santa Barbara office.
